Homecoming Parade
Don’t miss this year’s Homecoming Parade on Thursday, September 18 at 6:30pm. The parade route kicks off from the entrance at Pat Catan Stadium and circles around the high school’s campus. Scholastic Book Fair
Monday, September 22nd - Friday, September 26th
Get ready for an exciting week at our Scholastic Book Fair, happening Monday, September 22nd through Friday, September 26th! This year, the fair will be held in our cozy Media Center, making it easier than ever to explore a fantastic selection of books. Teachers will be sharing their classroom schedules soon, so keep an eye out for when your child’s class will visit. Plus, don’t miss the special Family Night hosted by our PTA on Wednesday, September 24th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM — a perfect opportunity for the whole family to discover great reads together. Ohio Auto Blast

ATTENTION STUDENTS OF ALL AGES (&PARENTS)... Maybe you already have interest in the automotive industry, or maybe you don't know it yet! This 3 hour FREE event is for YOU! Join us on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2025 at Mercedes-Benz of Bedford between 11am-2pm “AutoBlast is a unique opportunity for the next generation of automotive innovators to engage with the technologies and concepts that will define the industry for decades to come,” said Mike Wiant, Organizer of AutoBlast. “We want to empower young professionals to push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of mobility, while also creating a space where they can network and learn from experienced professionals.
CogAT and IOWA (Date Change)
October 6th-17th
Ohio requires schools to screen all students in grades 2 and 4 for gifted identification in cognitive ability and academic skills in reading and math between October 6th-17th (updated dates). Students will take the CogAT test for reasoning skills and the Iowa Assessments for reading and math abilities. These tests are not graded and don’t require preparation. Results will be shared with families, highlighting each child’s strengths and growth areas. Identified gifted students will keep this status regardless of future testing. Picture Day
Thursday, September 11th
Picture Day will take place Thursday, September 11th. Lunches that normally take place in the gym (K and 2nd) will be moved to the cafeteria side to accommodate pictures.
