July 19: 10 AM to 1 PM at George Washington High School, 2215 W Washington St

July 25: 12:30 PM to 4 PM at Matchbook, 1163 N Belmont Ave

July 31: 2 PM to 5:30 PM at Shortridge High School: 3401 N Meridian St

Kids can track their reading time and earn prizes; it is that easy! This program runs from May 31 to Aug. 2, and Registration is now open. Check out the Indianapolis Public Library’s Summer Reading Program online to download and print a reading tracker (or pick one up at any Library location), see prize choices, get reading recommendations, see workshop and program schedules, and register.

If your student does not have their library card, they can give their name at any Indianapolis Library checkout counter, and they will be allowed to check out books!

This website https://lote4kids.com/ is a resource our students can access through our partnership with Indianapolis Public Libraries. It has hundreds of books available in EVERY language you can think of. It will read the book aloud to kids in English and/or their own language, and students also have the option of reading the book on their own in each language. In order to access it, students must know their Library Card Number. Students should know their library numbers or can ask Ms. Bunch for this information.

You’re invited to participate on September 9 in a special group night with the Indiana Fever as they take on the Minnesota Lynx during Fan Appreciation Night! Invite your friends and family as we sit together as a group from Sidener Academy and receive special discounted ticket pricing! Two seating levels are available for $25 and $40 per ticket.

*A portion of each ticket will go directly back to Sidener Academy PTA as a fundraiser! *

Tickets are available now through August 10 or until they sell out! Tickets are limited and will be delivered electronically this year.
