Fulton Focus

For the parents and patrons of the Fulton School District

Fulton FocusFor the parents and patrons of the Fulton SchoolDistrict

September 16, 2022

We are almost one month into the school year with students and teachers settling into routines. I want to thank everyone for their continued effort to meet the goal of attending school 90% of the time. We know there is a direct relationship between attendance and student success.

It has been a great start to the school year and we appreciate all of your patience, particularly at the high school with the parking lot projects. As we approach Homecoming, I want to remind everyone to review the focus and building newsletters to be aware of all the opportunities and activities at FPS.

Thank you for sharing your students with us. It’s always a great day to be a Hornet!

Ty Crain, Superintendent

FPS Activities Expectations

Fulton Public Schools' athletics and extracurricular activities are important to our district. The district asks that students and those in attendance follow guidelines to ensure our activities are a safe and fun experience for those involved and our spectators.

The expectation is that elementary and middle school students attend and remain with an adult for the duration. Middle school students are welcome to sit in the middle school section if they choose, but the accompanying adult must remain at the event. We also ask that students and other children in attendance are not running, throwing objects, etc as this can cause a safety concern.

Our Fulton Hornets love having community support during events and encourage attendance, in a safe/respectful manner.

School Violence Tip Line

You may have noticed a new School Violence Tip Line link on our Fulton58 website under the For Parents and Community tab. This is an anonymous tip line linked to the Missouri Highway Patrol's Courage2Report Missouri. To prevent school violence, they offer three ways to anonymously report a concern. When a tip is submitted it immediately goes to law enforcement and notifies the school administrators. Please take the time to watch the video below, and to read the Student and Parent Frequently Asked Questions.
