We are heading towards the end of the 1st nine week grading period and we appreciate the teamwork from each of you to support all of the students success. All of our staff are locked in on pushing students to be the best versions of themselves and continue to encourage exceptional work ethic in the classrooms.

Attendance Resources 🙌

To review our attendance procedures please click the "ATTEND TODAY" picture to review the district's attendance policy and what to do if your student(s) misses school!

If your student(s) is absent from school, please call or email the secretary for your student's grade level. Send a note or doctor's excuse upon their return. Any student absent four or more consecutive days will require a doctor's excuse. You can also have the doctor fax the excuse to the school.

Testing taking place during the month of October

Grade 3- Ohio State Test for ELA

The test is paper and pencil over two days, October 22nd and 23rd. Attendance those days is essential for our school and improving to 3.5 stars!!!! More communication to follow in the following weeks.

In October, we will be administering the NNAT-3 to all students in 4th grade for the purpose of identifying giftedness in the areas of Superior Cognitive Ability and Creative Thinking Ability. If you have any questions related to this assessment, please reach out to your pod principal.

Picture Day is six weeks away, more information will be passed along in the coming weeks.

3rd Grade Testing Tips to Help Your Student

1. Get plenty of rest the night before testing

2. Eat breakfast the morning of the test

3. Stay calm!

4. During testing, take your time and read the whole question

5. Answer everything- never leave a blank answer!
