IDEA RUNDBERG COLLEGE PREP WEEKLY
Boletín Semanal de IDEA Rundberg College Prep
Vol 10: October 11, 2026
A JAM-PACKED DAY OF CELEBRATION AT IDEA RUNDBERG!
Wednesday was filled with culture, school spirit, and JOY as our Rattlers came together for an unforgettable day! From closing out Hispanic Heritage Month with our very own Hispanic Heritage Assembly, to wearing pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and celebrating student learning at OTP Fest, our campus was full of reasons to celebrate!
Hispanic Heritage Assembly: We honored the rich culture and traditions of Hispanic Heritage Month through traditional music, an incredible folklórico ballet performance, and recognition of our students who successfully passed TELPAS. We also celebrated the students and families who make our Rattler community so special!
At IDEA Rundberg, we believe in honoring culture, celebrating achievement, and creating moments that bring our community together. That's what bringing the JOY is all about!
A HUGE thank-you to Omar, our 12th-grade senior, and his band, our amazing Rundberg Cheerleaders, and the Hernandez Folklórico Ballet Group for sharing your talents with us. Your performances brought our celebration to life, the day would not have been the same without you!
OTP Fest: We also celebrated student learning, growth, and achievement!
The Fall 2026 Student Survey is beginning!
Students in grades 3–12 with parent/guardian consent will complete the survey during the school day.
Please help your scholar attend school each day and arrive on time. Consistent attendance keeps students connected to learning and ensures participating students have the opportunity to share feedback about safety, belonging, relationships, and wellbeing. Every scholar’s presence matters, and student voice helps us build stronger school experiences.

Student Self-Care Reminder: Healthy Habits Matter!
As we kick off a new school year, we want to remind our Rattler families that self-care is an important part of student success! A healthy routine can help students feel more focused, energized, and ready to learn each day.
We encourage students to:
- Get a full night of sleep each night to help their minds and bodies recharge.
- Limit caffeine and energy drinks, especially later in the day, as they can interfere with sleep and overall well-being.
- Stay hydrated and make healthy choices whenever possible.
- Take time to rest and recharge when feeling overwhelmed.
- Talk to a trusted adult when they are feeling stressed or need support.
