💡 Parent Moves: Take Home Folders 💡
Students come home with folders, so check their bags.
One side of the folder contains items that stay at home. The other side has material that goes to school. Please review and clean out the folder with your little one!
Our Character Strong focus for September is Respect
We make it easy for you to discuss respect at home. Just print the following document to support conversations at home about respect.
Message from our District Family School Liaison
I hope everyone is having a great start to the school year. Just a friendly reminder - I'm at Sunny Hill on Wednesdays. If you'd like to schedule an in-person meeting, please call 847-842-3565.
Your participation is crucial to your student's success.
Below are some examples of how I can support you, including, but not limited to:
- One-on-one assistance navigating district platforms, apps, etc.;
- Connecting you with community resources;
- Discussing how you can be more involved in your child's education and much more!
Sincerely,
Ruth Estrada

Has anyone said your student gets distracted easily, that they may have ADHD, or has trouble focusing?
Schools are required by law to make and follow accommodations when a doctor diagnosis a student. These tests can be expensive. However FREE neuropsychological evaluations are available for students who need it, live in Kane County, and are income eligible. Neuropsychological evaluations can cost families thousands of dollars. These evaluations can provide valuable insights into a student’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning to better support their academic and personal success.
