Reminder: Paid Internship Opportunities
If you have a 14 - 24 year old who is interested in a Spring internship with a local business, check out the Career Bound program sponsored by the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership (MEDP).
The program will run from March - May and plans to place 15 youth in paid, nine-week work experience opportunities with employer mentors, offering the interns the chance to gain first-time work experiences, essential workplace skills training and set them on a path forward with career exploration opportunities.
New sessions of CPS training
If you have been interested in the free parent trainings for Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), but haven't yet signed up, there are new sessions beginning this month.
CPS is a philosophy used in MSD classrooms that focuses on developing skills for better behavior, not a system of reward and punishment.
