Hendrickson High School

Hawk News8/22/2025Hendrickson High School

Message from Principal Grebb:

Hawk Nation,

It’s been another great week at Hendrickson! We’re back in the swing of things, and it’s exciting to see students settling into the A/B block schedule. Staying organized and managing your time is key, plan ahead so you don’t fall behind.

Starting next week, Afterschool Academy will be available in the library on Mondays and Thursdays. This is a great way to get extra support. Remember, attendance is one of the biggest factors in student success—be here every day, and if you are absent, communicate with your teachers to make up missed work.

The Texas Education Agency recently released accountability ratings, and we’re proud to share that Hendrickson earned a 92 “A” rating! More details are available at: txschools.gov. In addition, we received four out of seven possible Distinction Designations, ranking us among the top of 40 similar schools across Texas. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting each distinction to celebrate the incredible work of our students and staff.

Let’s keep soaring, here’s to another strong week ahead!

ELA Distinction Earned in 2024-25 School Year!
We are proud to share that Hendrickson has earned a Texas Education Agency (TEA) distinction in English Language Arts (ELA)! This recognition means our students performed at an exceptional level in reading and writing compared to similar schools across the state. Strong literacy skills are the foundation for success in every subject, and this distinction reflects the dedication of our students, teachers, and families. Way to go, Hawks!

Photos Photos

Underclassmen photos will be September 25 & 26 through English class.

Senior pictures have to be taken by CADY Photography. You can take them either at their studio in Cedar Park, or they will be on campus October 7 and November 11, 12. Even if the photo is taken on campus, you have to set up an appointment on their website, here. The free session, they call it Yearbook Only, includes the senior portrait in an outfit of your choice and a cap and gown.

You have the option to take more photos with more outfits, but they do charge a sitting fee for those.

Please email kari.riemer@pfisd.net for any questions about yearbooks or school pictures/senior portraits.

Yearbooks Yearbooks

The yearbook order site is open. To order a yearbook, go here. Books are at the lowest price they will be all year.

Senior parents interested in tribute ads, those are also already available for purchase. You can purchase now and turn in the photos and message later--just type will submit later in the text spots.
