As we prepare to launch into the 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to each of you. It is with great excitement and purpose that I share this letter with you—my goal is to provide as much helpful information as possible to ensure a smooth and successful start for your student.
Inside this newsletter, you will find student supply lists, registration instructions, details on Fall Sports registration, and important information regarding school bus routes and district transportation. I have also included school lunch and breakfast details, as well as information about our 6th Grade Orientation and Back 2 School Night events.
Our purpose at Park County School District 6 is to prepare students to chart their own course through learning experiences that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and resilience to discover their unique path to success.
As the principal of Cody Middle School, I am privileged to work alongside such an incredible staff of teachers, paraprofessionals, administrative assistants, custodians, maintenance staff, and support professionals who are committed to building strong relationships with students and families, and who believe deeply in the importance and power of public education.
I look forward to welcoming all of our students back and getting to know each of them throughout the school year. It is always inspiring to watch our young people grow, develop, and discover their strengths—and I am confident this year will be one of meaningful learning, achievement, and connection.
