Welcome back from spring break! We hope you had a restful and fun-filled time with your loved ones. As we return to school, we’re excited to continue learning, growing, and making memories together. Let’s finish the year strong and make the most of every moment!

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Parent Teacher Association for their incredible efforts in planning the upcoming events for our school. From the Denim & Diamonds Family Dance to the Anti-Bullying & Pro-Kindness Presentation, Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night, and of course, the Glow Run – their hard work and dedication in organizing these activities are truly appreciated.

These events offer our students and families wonderful opportunities to connect, learn, and have fun together. We are thankful for the PTA's unwavering support and commitment to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for everyone at our school.

1. Choose how you will receive your food: Dine-In, Carry-Out, Curbside or Drive-Thru.

2. Add items to your bag and proceed to check out.

3. During check out enter our code: MREPTA (case sensitive) and use the toggle button to select that you’re supporting our fundraiser.

Following these 3 steps will ensure that your purchase will be added to our Spirit Night funds tallied up that night. We appreciate your support!

Our General Membership Meeting and 2025/2026 Board Elections will take place on Wednesday, March 26th, at 6:00 PM in the gym.

Following the meeting, we are excited to welcome Carolyn Brown as she presents “Hey Dude, Nice Shoes”. This powerful anti-bullying and pro-kindness presentation addresses the challenges of growing up while inspiring students to foster kindness and create a more positive community.

********This PTA-sponsored event is open to all MRE families, and we encourage everyone to attend. You won’t want to miss it!

On 21 March, choose some socks that are going to get noticed!

They might be mismatched socks or your boldest and most colourful socks, whatever takes your fancy!

The idea is to start a conversation, so when people ask you about your socks, you can tell them, “I’m wearing them to raise awareness of Down syndrome”.

Then, you can tell them everything you want them to know about Down syndrome.

Students will take their INDIVIDUAL Spring Pictures on March 27th during the school day.

Parents may also choose to wait until the photo proofs arrive before purchasing. However, photos would be shipped to the student's home after purchases and shipping charges may be added.

Whether you’ve given just an hour, volunteered for multiple days, or helped out during a special event, your support has made a meaningful difference. To protect the integrity of the testing environment, Morton Ranch Elementary will be a closed campus (to outside visitors) on days when the STAAR test is being administered.

The calendar below identifies the days where MRE will be closed to ALL visitors.
