Here are 2 “PurposeFull Pursuits” you can complete together! #1 Cooperation is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Kind. Attendance Letters
New Attendance Letter Process
We wanted to share an update about a new district-wide process for attendance communication this year. The district has now enabled an automated attendance letter system, which will send notifications to families when a student reaches 4, 7, 10, and 30 days absent. These letters are designed to keep families informed about their child’s attendance and to help identify any potential attendance concerns early on.
Please know that while these letters are automatically generated, we still greatly appreciate your continued communication when your child will be absent. We understand that illnesses and family circumstances come up, and we do not expect students to attend school when they are sick.
Attendance Fact of the Month:
Students who are chronically absent in the early years of their education miss crucial school readiness skills such as critical and creative thinking and problem-solving. This negatively affects social and emotional development.
Attendance Tip of the Month:
Set a consistent bedtime and morning routine. Try laying out clothes and packing backpacks the night before. Being at school every day helps children build problem-solving skills, confidence, and positive relationships that support social and emotional growth.
Thank you for helping us support strong attendance and a healthy learning environment for all students!
For more information visit our Attendance Page on our website!
How to Report an Absence
You can report your child's absence on the parent portal, by calling the attendance line, or calling the main office! See instructions below.

Students will be walked out our main entrance at the end of the day for a 3:10 dismissal.
Hug and Go
Our Hug and Go lane is located at the front of the school along 33rd. Please know that this lane is intended for quick drop off and pick up. We ask that parents utilizing the Hug and Go stay in their car and to have their students jump in and out of the car quickly. We appreciate your support in keeping the front of the school running safely!
Where Does My Water Go?
While some pollutants are removed during wastewater treatment, rain and snowmelt can wash oil, fertilizers, pet waste, and trash into storm drains. This untreated water flows directly into local streams, harming aquatic life. Keep it clean — only rain down the drain!
