Looking ahead, next Friday is our big Halloween Dance night! There will be two dances: one for our K-5 students, and another later in the evening for JMS students. Both events are always highlights of the fall season, and we can't wait to see everyone dressed up and having fun. Mark your calendars for a great night at the Jacobs!

The first 6 week session will run from October 21-December 11. Courses are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00, and are filled on a first come/first serve basis. Many classes fill quickly, so please indicate if your child has 2nd or 3rd choices when completing the form.

Please complete one form per child, making sure that the course that your child signs up for corresponds to their grade. If there are any questions about JASPER please email Anna Wilson at awilson@hullpublicschools.us.

• Mondays 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24
• Thursdays 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/11

Course Cost per child:

• 1 Course for $30
• 2 Courses for $50

Join us for practical tips and tricks to keep your child's reports and IEPs organized and easy to manage. More details coming soon!

We know that for various reasons some families may need additional support with gifts and/or clothing this holiday season, and we are here to help! If you would like to be included in our Holiday Giving Program and are not participating in another gift program, please click on this link to sign up. Please complete one form for each child you'd like to receive gifts. (Once you’ve completed the form for one child, click on the link again to sign up another.) Children must be registered by Monday, November 17, to give our donors time to shop. Participation in the program is kept confidential by the counseling department, and gift donors do not know who the recipients will be. The Buttonwood Book Fair is returning to the Jacobs School the week of October 21-24. Parents and guardians are welcome to shop with their kids, and volunteers are welcome to help Mrs. Irby with this big event! Please contact Mrs. Irby at dirby@hullpublicschools.us if you have any questions, or if you are able to help out. The schedule is below.

In collaboration with the Hull Board of Health, the influenza vaccine will be available to the students/staff/siblings/parents/guardians at Jacobs School beginning on October 20, 2025.

If you would like your child to receive the vaccine at school, please complete the online registration by clicking on the following link https://home.color.com/vaccine/walk-up/hull/jacobs-elementary-school or by using the QR code to the right. Once you complete the online registration, the nurse will call parent/guardian to set a date and time to call student to the nurse's office and give them the flu vaccine.

The Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) for the injection influenza vaccine is in this document.
