A SUMMER MESSAGE
I hope that everyone has settled into summer! Speaking on behalf of our Poquessing faculty, we are extremely proud of the contributions and cooperation our students provided during the school closure. Although most students would have preferred to be in school, they persevered and made the best of the situation! Many students even chose to participate in virtual activities beyond their required assignments and demonstrated leadership and school spirit!
I am so grateful for the academic support our families provided their children during the closure. As a working mom, I found balancing my adult work, along with my children's schoolwork quite a challenge! In addition, I have respect for and empathize with the many Poquessing families who experienced family illness, financial hardships or personal loss. There is no doubt that the pandemic was felt locally. I was fortunate to witness many kind deeds within the Poquessing community. The reaching-out to assist local residents in need of support was indeed hearth-warming in a time when our the nation was in crisis.
As we try to return to some normalcy, you are probably aware that the district is planning several schooling options for the fall. We want the best educational and instructional environment possible given the parameters placed upon us. We will keep you informed as the plans come to fruition.
And last but not least, fifth grade families, please be on the look-out for a message regarding the transition to middle school!

ATTENTION! 8th Grade Recognition Day Certificates, Awards and Gift Bag!
Yearbook pick-up can be done during office hours beginning July 7th. Additional yearbooks are for sale $15.00. All 8th grade students receive a yearbook as a gift. Students in 5-7th grade may have pre-purchased a yearbook. We have extras for sale. See above for hours.
Poquessing July Office Hours
Beginning Tuesday, July 7th the Poquessing office will reopen our on campus doors. The office will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
We will work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. We are accessible by phone Monday thru Friday. Please call 215-809-6210.
