Browning Families-

We sincerely hope you had a restful vacation last week. Where did this week go?! A very special thank you to Mrs. Taubitz and all of our family volunteers who helped set up and run the Scholastic Book Fair this week. Next week, our wonderful PTA will be joining in the fun and running the holiday Penguin Patch. They are still looking for volunteers. If you have the time to volunteer, please be sure to sign up when you can. Another big thank you for donating all the canned goods for our Kiwanis Club and a big thank you to Ms. Michael and the Student Council for organizing the event. We appreciate your support and hard work.

The MISD has released the 2025-2026 Parent Advisory Committee’s (PAC) Make A Difference Award nomination form.

t's not too late for families!!

• All UCS families are asked to complete the Education Benefits form Here - enter "Utica Community Schools" and follow the prompts. These forms help maintain our Title 1 funding as well as other essential funding for our schools. It can also help reduce fees for pay-to-play sports, lower internet costs, reduced AP/college application fees and more!
• Most online forms are processed within two (2) working days compared to 10 using paper applications.
• Paper copies of these forms are distributed to all student households or are available at your child’s school.
  • Complete the forms and return them to your child’s school or mail them to Utica Community Schools, Food & Nutrition Services, 11303 Greendale, Sterling Heights, MI 48312
  • Education Benefits Form

**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**

What is the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop? Penguin Patch loves providing inexpensive gifts at kid-friendly prices in a safe shopping environment. The volunteers run the shop and do their best to help the kids purchase gifts.

If you are able to help out, please review the time slots. We do need you to stay for the whole shift.
