Golden Bear News: October 23, 2026
10/26/26-10/30/26
Message from the Principal
October 23, 2026
Dear Students and Families,
We had another great week at Upper Arlington High School, highlighted by our PSAT and Seal of Billiteracy Testing. These are both great opportunities for our students to showcase their knowledge and practice for the SAT, qualify for NMSQT, and qualify for the Seal of Billiteracy for graduation, which if passed, equates to earning college credit for the student’s transcript.
Thank you for joining us at Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday. This opportunity for teachers and parents to connect is critical in helping to build the partnership between our school and the families that call it home.
Best,
Tom Lombardi
Principal

Do you have questions about Issue 7?
As we approach Election Day, UA Schools wants to ensure our community has access to clear, factual information about Issue 7, the combined operating levy and bond issue on the November ballot. The school district’s role in this election is to share the facts, answer questions and help residents understand what is being proposed.
To help with that, we have put together a video version of the Issue 7 presentation that we have been sharing out in the community. The video provides an overview of the proposed issue and offers answers to common questions, with bookmarks to help you navigate directly to the topics most relevant to you.
To find additional factual information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the district website, www.uaschools.org/issue7.
