DMS Community Newsletter 25/26

Dear Defender Families,

We are heading into the final quarter of the school year, and it is another busy week at DMS. Please see the list of events taking place this week:

• 3/16: 6th Grade Elective Wheel Rotation

• 3/17: Lockdown / Fire Drill during Advisement

• 3/18: Symphonic Band to TVHS

• 3/18: Choir Fundraiser - see flyer below

• 3/19: Orchestra to TVHS

• 3/19: ELAC Meeting at 1:45 PM

• 3/19: SSC Meeting #3 at 2:45 PM

All Defenders should now be signed into their iPads. If your student was absent during distribution, please have them visit the librarian in the Media Center to have an iPad issued.

It was wonderful to see students, parents, and teachers collaborating at Parent/Teacher Conferences to support our Defenders. Please continue to communicate and work together as a team if there is any new information that will help us better meet the needs of our students.

Looking ahead, Spring Break will be March 23 – April 4.

Thank you media staff for the smooth distribution of over 600 iPads in 2 days!!! You are amazing!!!

If you have a student who is riding a bike/scooter/ebike/escooter to school, they need to complete the Safe Riders Course.

Students performed in the DMS MPR with schools from across the district.

Students created watercolor art of the sun and moon.

DMS ASB presented an Elementary Leadership conference to our feeder elementary school leaders.
