Meet Our Newest Paraprofessionals

At Fairfax, it takes a team to help every child learn, grow, and belong. Our paraprofessionals are an important part of that team. They work alongside teachers and staff to support students throughout the school day and help create a positive, welcoming, and successful learning environment.

This year, we are excited to welcome Ms. Rebillot and Mr. Tudor, our newest paraprofessionals to our Tiger Team!

Paraprofessionals play an important role in our school community. They support learning, build relationships with students, assist teachers, encourage independence, and help make Fairfax a place where every student can feel supported and successful.

❤️ Favorite Part of Working with Kids:

• Being there to support them and being around their positive attitudes.

🎨 Favorite Hobby or Activity:

• Playing lacrosse. I played in an adult league over the summer.

📚 Favorite Book or Movie:

• Project Hail Mary.

🍕 Favorite Food:

• Tacos

🎉 Fun Fact: What is something our Fairfax families might be surprised to learn about you?

• I'm a licensed aircraft mechanic and that was my career before switching to education.

❤️ Favorite Part of Working with Kids:

• Helping them understand a concept and reaching the "ah-ha" moment. It's extra rewarding when the student(s) have been struggling, but do not give up to reach the goal.

🎨 Favorite Hobby or Activity:

• Exploring new places with my three children. We recently discovered the Penitentiary Glenn Reservation in time for summer break!

📚 Favorite Book or Movie:

• I can't choose just one but I am a huge fan of biographies/memoirs.

🍕 Favorite Food:

• Coney dog

🎉 Fun Fact: What is something our Fairfax families might be surprised to learn about you?

• I won second place (in my age bracket) in the Heights 5K Fun Run in May!
