February - Fundraising Week

This past week at school has been so much fun for our Comets as we kicked off our Boosterthon! Each day they have learnt a new lesson, part of the 'World Changer' program, showing them that children can change the world and make a difference. All videos are on the Booster profile page.

We can't thank you enough for the support and donations that are coming in! I can reveal that we have now raised over $20K!! Which is just amazing!! I have no doubt we'll reach our $30K goal which is going to have a HUGE impact on our school going forward. Please keep sharing our fundraiser and remember to check if your company matches donations!

Today we kick started the court-yard clean up with so many volunteers showing up to help. Ms Fitzgerald and I are extremely grateful to the Boy Scouts Troop 345 for helping with the clean up and keeping us watered and fed, you guys are ROCK-STARS! To everyone that came out and helped, THANK YOU, it really was amazing to see our community come together and work so hard. Check out some of the photos below and all the rocks moved! This is going to make such a difference to our Comets!

A reminder our Nomination Committee is now ready to receive your nominations as we move to elect our next Board for the next school year. Information and link below. Nominations close March 23rd. If you'd like more information, I'm happy to share more about what we do and what is needed.

Nominations for your new PTA Board are now open and will close on March 23rd. Elections will be held at our PTA General Meeting on April 3rd at 6:30pm where we will vote in the new Board for the 2024-25 school year.

SATURDAY March 2nd will be our next big clean up day. Wheelbarrows, metal rakes and shovels needed! Please wear gardening gloves and closed toe shoes. 8am-5pm.

SAVE The dates for our next AWESOME drop off Spirit event at Code Ninjas with amazing STEM activities your child will love doing! Afternoon sessions, drop off, go shopping while they learn and have fun with other children from our school. Sign up information coming soon!
