Hello Panther Families!

We hope you are all enjoying your summer vacation. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Clinton City Heritage Days parade! We will be working on updating our webpage and social media accounts, so please check back often to see what is happening at Parkside. Please see below for more information about available positions, PTA, and Back to School Information. This will be the only Panther Post for June and July. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or visit the school office on Tuesdays from 9-1. If you need additional days/times, please email Principal Vincent.

For incoming kindergarten students, Ms. Kori will be calling families to schedule a day/time to bring your student(s) in for kindergarten testing. The testing will take place the week of August 11th. These will be individual appointments. If you have any questions, please reach out to the main office.

Kindergarten first day of school: Wednesday, August 20.

• We are in need of a PTA president for the upcoming school year. Rest assured you will not do this alone! We have an amazing group of parent volunteers and school staff who are ready and willing to help. Please reach out if you or someone you know may be interested. • 12:30-2:30 Popsicles with the Principal! Come to the back of the school and enjoy a cold treat!

• Finalized teacher assignments for grades 1-6 will be available in guardian myDSD accounts

Monday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 13

• Kindergarten individual testing (by appointment)

Thursday, August 14

• Back to School Night 4-6 pm
• Kindergarten teacher assignments will be finalized prior to Back to School Night

Monday, August 18

• First Day of School (grades 1-6)
• Early out 1:30

Wednesday, August 20

• Kindergarten first day of school (early out K only 1:30)
