String Festival Performance
Our talented students recently participated in the Greenwich Public Schools String Festival, a showcase of exceptional musical talent from across the district. The event brought together young musicians playing violins, cellos, and violas in a captivating display of artistry and dedication.
The String Festival provided our students with a valuable opportunity to collaborate with peers from other schools, learn from experienced instructors, and perform for an appreciative audience. These experiences help nurture not only their musical abilities but also important life skills such as discipline, teamwork, and confidence.
Congratulations to (from left to right) Jamil, Haoyang, Leila and Dylan for representing our school with such distinction!

🐣 The Chicken Hatching Program is Back! 🐥
(Another) Egg-citing Update!
🐥This year, we’re livestreaming the process for the first time, and along the way, we’ve learned what works best. To improve the experience, we’ve moved our livestream to YouTube, ensuring a smoother and more accessible stream for everyone.
🔴 You can now watch it here: YouTube Channel.
🔍 You can also type in my full name "Esra Murray" in YouTube search function and locate us!
To stay within the livestream limit, we’re streaming in 12-hour segments, refreshing the feed each morning and afternoon. Over the weekend, you’ll have access to recorded videos instead of a live stream, still giving you a glimpse into the lives of our lovely eggs!🐣
Thank you for your support and patience as we navigate this new adventure together!
Happy Hatching! 🐣

The St. Baldrick's Foundation
Congratulations to Mr. Hohl, our dedicated 3rd grade teacher, who participated in last night's St. Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser at Cos Cob Elementary School! On March 6th, he bravely shaved his head to show solidarity with young cancer patients and raise awareness for childhood cancer research.
The event was a powerful demonstration of our community's commitment to supporting this important cause. Mr. Hohl's participation exemplifies the compassion and selflessness we aim to instill in our students.
Thank you, Mr. Hohl, for your inspiring contribution to the fight against childhood cancer. Your actions have made a meaningful impact on both our school community and the broader effort to find cures for childhood cancers.
For those who would still like to support Mr. Hohl's fundraising efforts or learn more about St. Baldrick's mission, his donation page remains active at the link below.

Book of the Month 📖
One Wish: Fatima al-Fihri and the World's Oldest University
March Book of the Month: One Wish: Fatima al-Fihri and the World's Oldest University
This month, we are excited to share One Wish by M.O. Yuksel, a beautifully told and illustrated story about Fatima al-Fihri, the remarkable woman who founded the world's first university over 1,000 years ago. Her story is one of perseverance, education, and the power of dreams—perfect for inspiring our students to believe in their ability to make a difference.
We selected this book to celebrate International Women’s Month, the spirit of Ramadan, and, most importantly, the idea that knowledge is a gift meant to be shared. Fatima’s journey reminds us that learning has no boundaries, and with determination, we can all shape a better future.
This award-winning book has been recognized as:
