Dear JES Community,
It's hard to believe that we are already rounding in on November! At this confluence of both the harvest and spooky seasons, we have a couple of events that I would love for you all to take part in. Fall Festival is coming up this Friday (details below). Your kiddos have been working hard on some honestly impressive masks, and you can come see them on display starting at 9:30 on Friday, 10/30! No need to RSVP, and you can head down to Main St. to cheer for our students in disguise!
The Halloween Dance will take place that evening in our gym. To avoid confusion, the dance is open to JES students only, and all students must be accompanied by an adult. We understand that some folks bring groups of their child's friends which is great! In the event of emergency or being asked to take time away from the dance, we ask that you be prepared to be responsible for any and all students you bring to the dance. With those caveats out of the way, the dance is going to be a super fun time, and I hope your kiddos make it down to boogie!
Also on the events list is our parent conference and community meal on November 19th. The wonderful folks who comprise Johnson Eats are partnering with JES once again to put on a meal in conjunction with our parent conference date. I cannot express my appreciation for this partnership enough, and being able to offer space for connection, education, and food is a special opportunity. Please plan to join us for some food and music, and schedule a conference with your child's teacher when they reach out.
