Neubert ElementarySchoolFamily Newsletter | Week of December 15, 2025

Principal's Message Principal's Message

Dear Neubert Families,

As we head into the final week of school before our two week Winter Break, we want to wish all of our families a season filled with joy, rest, and meaningful moments together. During this time, many of our families will be celebrating holidays such as Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s, and we recognize and honor the many different traditions and celebrations that take place throughout this season. No matter how or what you celebrate, we hope the break provides time to relax, recharge, and connect with loved ones. Please continue to stay warm and safe - we look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026!

To help us get into the holiday spirit, this entire week will be Spirit Wear Week. The schedule is below:

  • Monday: Winter Wonderland White Out; Wear all white
  • Tuesday: Grinch Wear; Wear green
  • Wednesday: Holiday Headwear; Wear a holiday hat, antlers, elf hat, headband, etc.
  • Thursday: Holiday Cheer Wear; Wear your favorite holiday sweater, vest, shirt, socks, and/or accessories
  • Friday: Holiday PJs; Wear your favorite pajamas

ROYAL Student Store:
On Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to visit the ROYAL Student Store and use the ROYAL gems they’ve been earning and saving all Semester 1 to purchase fun prizes and experiences with NES staff!

Holiday Parties:
On Friday, we will host classroom holiday parties from 1:00-2:15 PM. If you are volunteering and have any questions regarding the parties, please reach out directly to your child’s classroom teacher.

Please Note:

Due to the two week break, the next NES Family Newsletter will be sent out on January 5, 2026. Additionally, Neubert will be closed during the weeks of December 22nd and December 29th.

Thank you, as always, for your partnership and support. We’re looking forward to a fun and festive final week together!

Your Partner in Education,

Ms. Nicole Bryan, Principal

Marisa Bellie - Orchestra Teacher

My name is Marisa Bellie. I am the 5th grade orchestra teacher at Neubert Elementary School and this is my 11th year teaching here. I love teaching students to learn a new skill but I also enjoy using the performance skills I learned when I was younger to play in orchestras for musicals out in the community. I am a big fan of Broadway Shows and find every opportunity I can to either see or perform in one. When I am not at school, you can generally find me either performing or home reading a good book. I have a cat named Peach who likes to try and scream/meow her way into every room she enters (just so we know she is there). I really enjoy working with the students at Neubert! They bring a lot of energy into my week and are always excited to be in orchestra class.

The Royal Broom Competition The Royal Broom Competition

Congratulations to Mrs. Radamacher's Class!

They are the winners of our Royal Broom Award for keeping the cleanest classroom the entire week of December 1st! Our night custodians crowned them champions, and their room sparkled the brightest. ✨

The Royal Broom competition runs all year long, so who will sweep up the honor next week? 🧹

Lost and Found Lost and Found

Updated 12/15/25

Our Lost and Found is bursting with lonely jackets, hats, sweatshirts, scarves and gloves that are hoping to find their way back home! Please take a look at the pictures we’ve shared to see if any of these items belong to your child. To help our “lost treasures” get back to their owners even faster, we’d love for you to add your child’s name inside their belongings. That way, we can return them right away before they end up on another adventure in the Lost and Found!

NOTE: Any items left on December 19th will be donated.
