From the Principal
We appreciate everyone being patient the first week of school. It has been very refreshing to see the kindness and love in the car rider line. It is very long this year, but we have an opportunity for you to get in and get out faster. Below is a raffle ticket for a fast pass. Print if out and fill it out and send it to the front office with $5. You can buy as many chances as you want! We will draw 3 fast pass tickets and they will be valid all year. You will get a special sign to turn directly into the car line and come through the second lane, where we will call your child out and you can load and go!
We will also be printing and sending these home!

🤠 Howdy, Vogel Texans!
Our amazing teachers and staff spend every day going above and beyond for our students. Help us show them just how appreciated they are by helping us Stock the Staff Lounge!
We're collecting donations of coffee, drinks, snacks, candy, granola bars, chips, and other grab-and-go treats to keep our hardworking staff energized throughout the school year.
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference and reminds our staff that our community is behind them.

Volunteer Needed- Destination Imagination
We need your help parents! If you would like to sign up to coach a Destination Imagination team, please reach out to csimpson@conroeisd.net. The teams meet as a club on Friday mornings. The more volunteers we have, the more students we can have participate!
Dress Code Reminder

- No slides of any kind (crocs, sandals, shower slide, athletic slides)
First offense:
- Student will be sent to the office to call for a change of clothes.
After first offense:
- Student will be sent to ISS for the day.
Lunch Charges
Charge Policy
Child Nutrition offers meal service for breakfast and lunch to the children of Conroe ISD from EC-12th grade on a daily basis during the school year. Per CISD Board of Trustees Policy CO (Local), students are allowed to charge 15 days of meals, one breakfast and one lunch, or $78.00. After the 15 days of meal charges have been reached, the student is no longer allowed to charge.
Alternative Meals
Students in EC-6th grade will receive an alternative meal. The breakfast alternative meal is cereal and milk. The lunch alternative meal is a turkey sub with mustard and milk.
Free and Reduced Status
Free and reduced meals status does not roll over. You must fill out a new application each year. Click below to access the free and reduced application.
Family Information Night
Please join us for our yearly Family Information Night. We will have a quick general session before releasing parents to classrooms to receive classroom information.
Student Handbook
The student Handbook is now available online and can be accessed at the link below.
Early Check Out
If you have to check your student out early, you must do so by 3:15. All check outs and changes of transportation must be made by 3:15. Changes to transportation can be made at contactvogel@conroeisd.net. Remember, missed hours count toward perfect attendance and attendance incentive. Every minute Counts.
Reporting an Absence
The procedure to report an absence for your child is to call the attendance office line at 832.663.4300 by 9:00 a.m. Leave a message stating your child's name, teacher's name, reason of the absence, person reporting the absence, and your phone number. When your child returns to school, a note explaining the absence should be brought to their teacher.
Student Make Up Work
If a child is home sick, we want them to get the rest they need and focus on feeling better. Therefore, when a student is absent from school due to illness, teachers are not required to send assignments home or have work prepared for parent pick-up. Because the student has also missed the instruction that accompanies the assignment, they will be given the opportunity to complete any missed work upon their return to school. Our priority is for students to rest, recover, and return to school ready to learn.

From The Nurse
Important Reminder From the Clinic
If your child has daily medication, please bring it to the nurse's office. Students are prohibited from carrying medication on their persons.
It has come to our attention that phone calls from our clinic are appearing as “spam” or “potential spam,” which is preventing us from reaching some families when important situations arise.
To ensure we can contact you when needed, please save our clinic phone numbers in your contacts:
832-663-4309
832-663-4319
Saving these numbers will help ensure that our calls go through and are recognized.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep communication smooth and timely.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
