Welcome Back Harada Families,

The Harada Elementary staff has kicked off the 2026-2027 school year! We have been working diligently in preparation for the first day of school and it's finally here. Your child's teacher has prepared a spot for them in their classroom and has welcomed them in. Please note, it is challenging to make class adjustments at this time. We consider parent input that is completed prior to the first day of school when are able to create balanced class lists. Thank for your understanding.

We look forward to seeing all the Harada families on Back to School Night! This event is a great opportunity to visit the classroom, meet the teacher, and become more familiar with the building if you are new to the school.

Thank you to everyone for being safety conscience when dropping off and picking up students. Please continue to drop off your child at the curb. In addition, please stay in your vehicle when you are in the drop off lane. If you would like to walk your child to the gate, please park your car in a parking space in the parking lot and walk with your child. All students who walk in the parking lot need to be accompanied by an adult.

Please remember we have the back gate open in the morning and afternoon if you wish to drop off or pick up there. It is behind the school at Highland Park and there will be a supervisor stationed there.

There is another gate in the cul-de-sac at Sugarloaf Drive and Massachusetts Avenue, but this a walkway that goes to the front of the school. Anyone can use this walkway (including parents) and it is not a gate that directly goes into the school. There is no supervision at this gate or in the walkway.

As always, our events are not possible without the help of our parents. Please consider giving an hour or so of your valuable time to volunteer for one or more of our events. PTA Parent Volunteer Form

As always, at Harada we work diligently to exhibit a culture of universal achievement and collaborate around that belief to ensure our students are successful. A student’s attendance is a significant factor to his/her academic success. We ask that you make a conscious effort to ensure that your child is at school every day so absences do not add up to academic struggles. Please communicate with us as soon as possible when your child is absent.
