The Barrett Bulletin
Week of September 22-26
Barrett Russell Students are Respectful, Responsible, Safe and Kind!
Hello Barrett Families!
We had a great first full week of school! Thank you to all of our families who attended our introductory PAC meeting on Thursday! We have some wonderful parents who have volunteered to take on our PAC, and I am excited to see how they grow and develop our family engagement!
This upcoming week, we have NO SCHOOL on Wednesday, September 24th as it is a staff professional development day.
Next week, your child will be coming home with information for our first fundraiser. Students will be asked to sell as many $1.00 chocolate bars as they can! 40% of the money will go directly to our school! The top selling student will receive a gift card, and the top selling class will win either a pizza or ice cream party!
As a reminder, please label your child's backpack and belongings with their full name! Also, please send in a change of clothes and make sure you check their folder every day! Now that we have been in school for a few days, we are going to be stricter at the parent drop off door. Anyone picking up a student must show a dismissal card. Also, the doors will close promptly 10 minutes after we open, and families must be on time to pick up their child! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
