Lackawanna Dual Enrollment

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors in the classes listed below are eligible to earn college credit through Lackawanna College's Dual Enrollment programming. While Dual Enrollment can be an excellent opportunity to get started taking college credits while still in high school, there are pros and cons to participating in it. All factors should be considered before paying for Dual Enrollment credit. To learn more about what Dual Enrollment is, click here or below. Families are also encouraged to contact their student's school counselor to discuss the opportunity.

Current LHS courses that qualify for Dual Enrollment are listed below

Students in those classes were encouraged to attend a presentation on 11/25/25 where they learned about the requirements to attain credit and the benefits of doing so. An additional presentation was held on 2/10/2026 at 11am in the auditorium. Below is a course list document that shows how Lakeland courses can count as Lackawanna credit for those student who choose to buy the credits. Read on for more information about how to purchase credit.

By February 20th , students will need to register for their course electronically through Lackawanna College. Lakeland staff does not maintain the registration or have access to this information. The deadline is firm.

**Please note that once registration is complete, students will be billed directly by Lackawanna College. LHS school counselors will not accept payment.

A representative from Lackawanna College was here on February 10th at 11:00 am during 5th period of Lunch & Learn to review the registration process. This was on the announcements leading up to the event and an announcement was made over the loudspeaker at the start of the period.
