After School Activities After School Activities

As a reminder, students attending any after-school event as spectators must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire event. This expectation applies to athletic events, concerts, musical performances, PTO activities, and all other after-school events (after-school clubs do not count).

Students who arrive without a parent or guardian will be asked to make arrangements to go home and will wait in the main office until transportation arrives.

Attendance Notifications Attendance Notifications

Attendance Reminder: We recently began sending automated absence notifications at 4:00 p.m. each school day when a student is marked absent for one or more class periods. If you receive a call and believe it was sent in error, please allow time for any attendance corrections to be entered and updated in the system. Thank you for your patience as we implement this new process!

As we begin our third week of school, we appreciate our students and families for supporting Springer’s cellphone-free environment. All cellphones must be turned off and secured in Yondr pouches throughout the entire school day. Following this expectation helps students stay focused on learning, engage with classmates, and build stronger face-to-face connections.

Lots of action this past week for Springer Athletics. The soccer team was able to secure a win v Talley, Field Hockey drew a tie with Newark Charter, and the Volleyball team lost a close match in the third set v Talley. Super proud of the sportsmanship and thank you to the amazing coaches. You are all making Springer super proud! Keep up the great work and Go Bulldogs!
