Hendrickson High School

Hawk News8/28/2026Hendrickson High School

Message from Principal Grebb:

So, how fast does this year go? Really, really fast. We have 36 weeks of school divided into 12 grade checks every three weeks, and we have reached the end of the first three weeks. IPR 1 is today.

IPRs are a way to see where you are at and help you react to your grade to try to improve it. The great thing about IPRs is that they are not permanent. Only the Nine Weeks and Semester grades stick to a transcript.

Below this message, I have all 12 grade cutoffs for this year. Please monitor your grades in Skyward. Turn in all of your assignments and give your best effort on all of your work. That, coupled with showing up every day, will ensure success.

Hendrickson Journalism teacher, Ms. Kari Riemer received some exciting news yesterday, she is one of only seven journalism educators nationwide to receive the JEA Medal of Merit from the Journalism Education Association (JEA)!

The Medal of Merit is one of the nation's highest honors for journalism educators and recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to scholastic journalism.

This incredible honor is a reflection of the decades of outstanding work, dedication, and impact Ms. Riemer has had at Hendrickson High School and beyond. We are incredibly proud to have her leading our journalism, yearbook, and newspaper programs.

Congratulations, Ms. Riemer! This honor is so well deserved!

Student must wear their ID's every day. They are required to ride the bus. Replacement Student IDs cost $5.

Lunch Deliveries Lunch Deliveries

As part of enhanced safety at campuses, all Pflugerville ISD campuses do not accept deliveries from meal delivery services or restaurants for student lunches. Parents may still bring outside food for their children if they plan to deliver the meals directly to office. All guests are required to follow existing safety protocols and check in with ID at the front office.
