Here are updates and information for this school week..

We are excited to share that one of our students, Áine Stack, has been selected as one of the seven finalists in Vermont’s statewide Kid Governor election! The Vermont Kid Governor program teaches fifth-grade students about leadership, government, and civic engagement through a real election process. As part of the program, Áine developed a three-point platform and created a campaign video to share her ideas. A panel of judges from the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office selected Áine as one of the seven finalists who will run to become Vermont’s next Kid Governor. We are proud of Áine for taking on this exciting opportunity to make her voice heard and engage in the democratic process!

• November 16-19 Parent Teacher Conferences (Information Below) and Book fair

We are looking for 2-3 support staff members to join our team and currently have the following openings :

• A .5 FTE position for grade levels K-6

• A 1.0 FTE position PreK level position that is 50% classroom assistant & 50% 1:1 PreK student support or....

• Two separate .5 FTE positions (a 50% classroom assistant AND a 50% 1:1 PreK student support)

The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and ready to enjoy working in our family-centered community. This position follows the school schedule and includes a full benefits package. This can be a great job for those with children or looking to explore working in education.

November Family Conferences

• Conferences can be scheduled November 16-19 for Kindergarten-6th Graders
• Parents can sign up for 20 min slots (with a 5 minute break between)
• Conference Sign up link here will open for sign ups November 2-12
• After you choose 'The Warren School' you can look up your student by their birthdate.
• The school password is: warren

The dynamic programming here at our school requires substitutes, whether it's helping Yuko in the kitchen or supporting students' days in a classroom. Subbing in our school is a perfect way to support our school and have the same work schedule as your own students,
