Reflection Form Updates
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we begin the second semester, we want to share an important update. Wilson Creek Elementary will be introducing new reflection forms to support student growth and accountability. Please see the attached PDF for the updated forms.
These forms are designed to help students:
- Reflect on their behavior
- Develop a plan for improvement
- Understand logical consequences assigned by teachers
If your child receives a reflection form, please know it is intended as an opportunity for learning, not punishment. Students will complete the form, and it will be sent home for a parent or guardian signature. We encourage you to discuss the situation with your child, explore what could be done differently next time, and reinforce positive choices moving forward.
Your partnership is essential in helping students build responsibility, accountability, and strong character. We truly appreciate your continued support and collaboration as we work together to make Wilson Creek a great place for every child to learn and grow.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
Volunteer Registration Renewal
Dear Parents,
As we prepare for upcoming events like Science Force and BINGO Night, we want to ensure that all volunteers can enter the building without any issues. Please note the following important information about volunteer registration:
- All volunteers must register with the Fulton County School Board before volunteering. Without this registration, entry into the school building is not permitted.
- The registration process is completed online and includes watching a mandated reporter video and creating a volunteer profile. Your profile will show your registration expiration date.
- In winter break of the 2023β2024 school year, Fulton County Schools implemented the Checkmate system, which required all parents to re-register as volunteers. Registrations are valid for approximately two years.
- If you registered around that time, your registration may now be expiring. Please check your status and renew if needed.
How to Register or Check Your Status:
- Register as a volunteer: https://www.fultonschools.org/all-departments/human-resources/badging/register-as-a-supervised-volunteer
- Check your registration status/expiration date: https://campus.fultonschools.org/campus/checkMate/volunteerSignUp.jsp?appName=fulton
Thank you for helping us keep our school safe and organized. If you have any questions, please reach out to the front office.
