Useful tool to assist with college/scholarship applications
Why do I need a personal resume?
Most college & scholarship applications ask for information about your goals, achievements, extra-curricular activities, community involvement, leadership experience, etc. A resume is an excellent way to document this information.
When you ask someone to write a letter of recommendation, providing this person with a copy of your personal resume will give the recommender information that he/she needs to write a glowing letter.
