Welcome back to school, CCA!
Patriot Press Information
The High School Publication Class will create and send out an online newsletter every two weeks. The newsletter is a great source of information, ranging from sports updates, to monthly calendar events and fun activities for students. If parents have any pictures of CCA activities or sporting events that they would like to share with the Publications class, please email pictures to spoff@clintonacademy.org. We will also create the CCA Yearbook, so the more photos we can get, the better our yearbook will be! Our 2025-2026 High school Publication Class, from left to right: Sarah, Mackenzie & Allie
September Character Trait: Love
This week we asked a few students who we thought represented Love well “what does love mean to you?” They each gave their own answers of what they believe love means. But what does the Bible say love is? 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says “ Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…."
As you go throughout this week, keep in mind the characteristics of love and be in prayer that God would help you reflect them!

Teacher Spotlight: Mrs.Crump
We have many new teachers at CCA this year. One of our new teachers is Mrs. Crump, according to Principal Hyke said: “Mrs. Crump is a long term sub for Mrs. Wilson.” Mrs. Crump has 3 children that attend CCA: Avery-9th, Liam-4th, and Kennedy-4th. She has been teaching for 17 years and she teaches English 6, 7, 8 and English III. I also teach Algebra A and B and Business Math. She has taught all ages, at elementary, middle, high and college schools. Here are some of her favorite things. Her favorite food is pizza, her favorite thing to do in her free time is watch her kids sports, her favorite color is green, and her favorite candy is anything chocolate. Her favorite bible verse is II Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Chapel Notes
On Thursday, August 28th, the 4th Grade opened chapel for the Upper School and the 2nd Grade opened chapel for the Elementary School with pledges and prayer. CCA had the privilege of having Kevin Griffey come and lead worship songs for Upper School and Elementary chapel. This was the first chapel of the school year, and worship included; The Fruits of the Spirit, Gratitude, Praise, and other fun and interactive songs.
On Friday, September 5th, the Student Led Worship Team opened chapel for the Upper School. Jonathan Presley, from Windsor Assembly of God Church, taught a lesson from David and Goliath. He reminded us to not fight in someone else's armor and we may not be a giant, but we can beat a giant through Christ.
