Friendly Reminders Friendly Reminders

Personal Items at School

Personal items that are not considered necessary for the student’s educational experience should be left at home, as the school cannot assume responsibility for these items. ASU Preparatory Academy is not responsible for the safe keeping of your personal items nor does the district assume responsibility for lost, broken or stolen property. Any personal item (i.e., cell phone, Air Pods, iPod, camera, handheld game, toys or dangerous items, etc.) which causes a disturbance or interferes with learning, should not be brought on campus and may be taken from you and may or may not be returned.

Toys & Sports Equipment at school

Toys are not allowed at school and should be kept at home, this also includes sports equipment, as we have plenty for the students to use during recess.
We have noticed a sudden increase in toys and stuffed animals coming to school. Also, we are seeing Pokemon cards appearing both in the classroom and outside at recess.
These items usually become the source of conflict and/or upset because they get damaged, lost or "borrowed" by others.

JumpBunch Days: Footwear

For the safety of the students the school is asking that students wear athletic type shoes for Jumpbunch.

If students are wearing crocs, dress shoes, sandals or any other type of shoe that is not appropriate for outdoor activities a call will be made home to have shoes brought in. Otherwise, they may have to sit out of Jumpbunch for the day. This is to ensure the safety of our students.

Students attend Jumpbunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week.

If you have any questions please reach out.

Re-enrollment season will start on January 9th, please make sure you are able to log in to your account. Click the "Forgot Password" option if needed, and you will receive an email to create a new password. Feel free to contact the school if you need assistance.

Celebrations

We love celebrations and we love celebrating our students! We ask that you give your child's homeroom teacher 24-hour notice before sending any treats or celebratory items. You may contact homeroom teachers via email or ClassDojo. If you are sending treats with your child, they will be held at the office unless prior arrangements with the homeroom teacher have been made.
