Snapshots from Cornwall School
Winter Concert
Our band and chorus students put on a beautiful concert! After months of shlepping instruments back and forth to school, practicing at home, and then 3 rehearsals with new friends in the Bridport band and chorus, our students performed in their spiffy concert outfits Wednesday evening at Middlebury College's Wilson Hall. Pre-performance jitters were conquered, notes were hit, and These Green Hills brought tears. We are so proud of our students!
Cornwall School extends an enormous thanks to all the families who delivered instruments to school after students forgot to bring them on their lesson day; helped wrangle our musicians during rehearsals when we were short staffed; and transported music stands that would not all fit in one car. This would not have been possible without you.
Nor, of course, would it have been possible without the enormous efforts of Kate Cunningham. Rock on, Mrs. Cunningham!
Kinders get new book bags!
A huge thank you to Marie Berno of Sew and Vac in Middlebury, who sewed these beautiful book bags for our kinders with their name letters. They bring the bags to library each week to browse for books; a line of them with their bags slung over their shoulder, headed to the library is a true bucket-filler! Thank you soooo much, Marie! 💙
