I hope you've all had a wonderful summer so far! As we approach the final few weeks before school starts, I wanted to share some updates about what is happening at PES.
New Staff Members
We are excited to welcome several new faces to our team this year:
Staci Willbarger- Assistant Principal
Sophie Bushey- 3rd Grade Teacher
Katherine Russel- Library Media Specialist
Merissa Doubleday- School Nurse
Summer Updates
- Summer programs are wrapping up this week. It’s been great seeing many students in the hallways, actively learning and participating in various activities.
- Our custodians have been hard at work preparing classrooms and hallways for the return of our students.
- We have upgraded the roof on our gym and air conditioning has been added to our preschool and kindergarten wing.
Classroom Assignments:We know you’re eager to find out who your child’s teacher will be. We are in the process of finalizing class lists, and information will be mailed out early next week. Additionally, we will post the class lists on our front door once they are complete. I will put a message on our Facebook page when this is done.
I am looking forward to a fantastic school year at PES! My hope is that this year will be filled with learning and fun. I want PES to be a place where students are excited to learn and explore new ideas, and where parents feel connected and engaged with our school community. With the support of our dedicated staff, we aim to make PES a place where students thrive.
