The Colorado Universal Preschool Program (UPK) application is currently available.

Please submit a UPK application at UPK.colorado.gov.

My child will be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2026

Your child is kindergarten eligible. Please visit the DCSD website for kindergarten admission information.

Placement Timeline

3-year-old Requests - Once your request has been received, you will receive an email from our Placement Specialist with more detailed information on the admissions process.

4-year-old Requests - Please see the UPK Timeline for dates on when to expect a match from Universal Preschool. Once a match is accepted in our program, our placement specialists will then send you the online registration to complete for admissions with DCSD preschool.
