Spring Milestones Testing Information
CWES 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families,
Here are the dates for Spring Milestones testing. Please do your best to have students present and ready to do their best on these days. ALL students will need a pair of wire headphones for the ELA assessment this year. If you have an extra pair of wired headphones (AUX or USB) please send them in to your child's teacher to store for testing.
Spring Testing Dates:
4/29- ELA Section 1
4/30- ELA Section 2
5/1- ELA Section 3
5/5- Math Section 1
5/6- Math Section 2
5/7- Science (5th only)

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Together we can strengthen families and prevent child abuse, and together we can make it easier for families to access support services and learn how to identify and build on family strengths. By providing all families with equal opportunity and access to the support they need, we can help improve the safety and well-being of children and youth across the country.
Throughout the month, Fulton County Schools will plant blue pinwheels on campuses to raise awareness, celebrate the importance of strong families and caring communities, and remind everyone that protecting children is a shared responsibility. Each pinwheel represents the hope that every child will grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. Please wear BLUE on Friday, April 17th to increase aware for Child Abuse Prevention Month!
Don't Miss Out - Big Air Spirit Night!
Join us for a night of fun at our Big Air Spirit Night on Thursday, April 28th from 3-8pm! Bring the whole family out to jump, play, and connect with other Cougar families while supporting our school. It’s a great way to let the kids burn off some energy and enjoy time with friends outside of the classroom.

Paw Mart Donations Needed!
Each month, students get to use Paw Points to visit the Paw Mart (school store). Students can choose to spin the wheel for 50 points for a chance to win fabulous prizes. These fabulous prizes come from donations.
Instead of Goodwill, please consider donating to us. We will gladly accept gently used books, toys, stuffed animals, games, trinkets, etc. Thanks for supporting our kids making respectful, responsible, and safe choices at Cogburn Woods!
