The LeBeau Lowdown!

If you're coming to visit at school, you need to check in at the office. You are not allowed to just walk into the school without stopping in the office. Courtney will have you check in on the iPad and then get a sticker to put your name on it. You will then be able to enter the building.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with our procedures.

We want to inform you that all students will be getting on the busses at 2:40pm. If your student is riding the bus, we ask that you please review the expectations with them. See the attached picture as what we use at school.

Parents/Guardians,

Please have your students to the school before 8am. If they are a kindergartner or 1st grader they may go to the playground to start their day. Any student coming in for breakfast may enter through door A. The students who eat breakfast getting off the bus come in through door H. All 2nd through 5th graders go to their classroom upon arrival unless they are eating breakfast first.

In order to keep growing the student independence, we ask that during drop-off, you send the kids onto the playground to set their bookbags down and play until the bell rings for kindergartners and 1st graders.

**Please note, if your child will be going home a different way than what the teacher knows about, you need to have contacted the office about this change prior to 2pm. We need ample time to inform teachers of the changes for that day.

September 22-26 = Homecoming week and we're following along with Jefferson High School. There will be dress up days coming out next week!

September 29 = Skate Night at Skate City

October 6 = Kindergarten to the Butterfly House

October 13 = No School

October 14 = No School

October 14 = Parent Teacher Conferences 1-7pm - There will be a sign up genius coming shortly to schedule your 15 minute block with the teacher.

October 16 = Parent Teacher Conferences 4-7pm - Again, the sign up genius will be shared soon.

Please continue to encourage your students to earn those BEARS slips. The students have done an awesome job earning them. BEARS stands for: B-Be Kind, E-Engaged, A-Achieve Goals, R-Respectful, S-Safe!

The students are working to have a reward for getting over 500 BEARS slips in the month of September. We will have another incentive for the end of October if they can achieve 1000 slips at the end of October. It's so fun to see the students light up for showing what it looks like to be a BEAR :)
