NHHS Weekly Update

Week 9

Wildcats, this Wednesday, October 21 st is Unity Day. Let's show one love, one heart, and our commitment to acceptance, kindness, and unity by wearing Orange. We can embrace our differences while promoting empathy and respect. Wear your orange this Wednesday and let's get together and feel alright! We will also light the school Orange in honor of Unity Day this Wednesday night and then finish this week strong because Friday is the last day of the 9 weeks! Students if you are not passing a class at the end of this week you will be eligible for an academic contract if you have less than 15 unexcused absences. That is why it is so important to reach our goal for 95% attendance! Your teachers will be communicating with you about academic contracts. Let's get together and take care of business in week 9!

Cell Phone Policy

Students and parents, please remember that students are required to give up their cell phones when they enter the classroom. It is state law that cell phones are not to be used by students during instructional time. This includes when students leave the classroom to go to the restroom or to go to another location in the building. Parents, please reinforce with your students that if cell phones, air pods or other devices are used during the school day they will be confiscated and students will receive consequences. We want your students to be focused on learning and not their devices at school.
