The Fowler Weekly
January 23-27
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Fowler Family,
Our kids were pretty excited this week to resume Winter ASA activities and it is fun to see the eyes light up as kids talk about going to their after school event. We also have a PSO sponsored school dance coming up on February 2nd from 6:30-8:00PM here at Fowler and that is another safe social event for kids to attend. Please see the flier and additional details below.
Additionally, I would like to also put a plug out there for a possible 8th grade career experience day that we are tentatively planning for April 27th. Although the planning for this day is still in infancy stages, we are envisioning a hybrid day where 8th graders would get to talk to industry professionals in classrooms at Fowler to learn more about possible career paths and then also take a short field trip to get a tour of some local businesses. If you are interested in serving on a panel and talking to students about a possible career or if you have access to, or connections to, local manufacturing, business, or other work locations that could host 60+ students for a short tour we would love to know if you are interested in partnering with our team. Here is a link to sign up or share contact information that could help us with planning this event.
Be well and be safe,
Andy

Winter ASA (After School Activities) is up and running. If your student is interested, it is not too late for them to sign up. A handful of the activities have reached their cap. Printed forms are available in the office. You may also download the form below and complete it. Students need to bring their completed forms to the office along with the money to get signed up. We enroll the students who come with all forms complete first.
Encourage your student to get involved!
Immunization Exclusion Day Coming! The State of Oregon exclusion day for missing immunizations is coming up on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023. Please make sure your student's immunizations are up-to-date in the office. If you are unsure if this applies to you, please contact Teresa Weitz, tweitz@ttsd.k12.or.us.
