The Argyle ISD Board of Trustees approved a long-range facilities plan during the Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Special Meeting, designed to strategically manage the district’s continued growth while maximizing the use of both existing and future facilities.

The plan aligns with current bond programs and focuses on long-term sustainability while maintaining the high-quality educational experience Argyle ISD families expect. This approved framework provides a blueprint for how the district will proactively address enrollment growth through thoughtful campus configurations, feeder-pattern alignment, and the efficient use of instructional space.

“As Argyle ISD continues to grow, we must balance meeting today’s needs without overbuilding for the future,” said Superintendent Dr. Courtney Carpenter. “Our long-range planning ensures we use facilities strategically, remain responsible stewards of taxpayer resources, and continue prioritizing strong programs and opportunities for students.”

There's a special feature in the Spring Issue of the Argyle ISD Insights Magazine! We spotlighted the Argyle ISD mother-daughter basketball state champions in teacher Martha Murphy and student-athlete Landry Murphy!

Mrs. Murphy, a retiring PE teacher at Argyle West, was a former star player and state champion at girls basketball powerhouse Duncanville. This March, her daughter joined her in the court of state champion as the Lady Eagles won their 7th state title by defeating Barbers Hill in the Class 5A Division II title game.

What an awesome accomplishment for these two Eagles!

Grab the issue and read the Q&A with the Murphys just prior to Landry's state championship game! This issue is available at the front office of all AISD campuses and at the administration building.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙧𝙜𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙄𝙎𝘿 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙁𝙡𝙮𝙚𝙧? It’s students across the district who are seen doing the right thing, showing kindness, and making a positive impact on those around them.

Earlier this season, the Argyle Eagles JV Baseball team stopped at a Jason’s Deli in Frisco during a tournament and left a lasting impression. Their behavior, respectfulness, and overall presence stood out so much that a fellow patron took the time to email the district to share their experience.

  • “They represented their team well.”
  • “Fantastic fellow diners.”

We recently surprised the team with Chick-fil-A box lunches and snack packs before their road game to recognize their outstanding example of what it means to be a High Flyer.

Way to go, JV Baseball...we’re proud of you!
