Last Week of School

We had a wonderful last week of school and an amazing year at Coulston! As we wrap up another successful school year, we want to thank all of our students, families, and staff for the support, encouragement, and partnership that helped make this year so special.

We are proud of all the growth, accomplishments, and memories made throughout the year. It has been a joy celebrating learning and success together. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and fun-filled summer!

AYS

Dear Shelbyville Central Schools Elementary Families,

We want to inform families that AYS (At Your School) after-school care will no longer be available for the 2026–27 school year due to the rising operational costs of the program.

We understand the importance of reliable after-school care for our families, and we encourage parents to explore the excellent local programs that continue to provide affordable, accessible care for K–5 students each school day until approximately 6:00–6:30 p.m.

Local After-School Care Options:

  • Boys & Girls Club of Shelby County – (317) 398-6734

  • Girls Inc. of Shelbyville/Shelby County – (317) 392-1190

We appreciate your understanding and encourage families to contact these organizations directly for enrollment information, transportation details, and program availability for the upcoming school year.

Sincerely,

Shelbyville Central Schools
