Blue Rapids Elementary
It's all blue skies in Blue Rapids
It was a great week at Blue Rapids Elementary! A big shout‑out to Mrs. Popejoy, Mrs. Schroller, and the students for an outstanding music concert on Tuesday night. The Beatles‑themed program was a hit, and the students truly captured the spirit of the Fab Four. On behalf of Mrs. Popejoy and Mrs. Schroller, I want to thank everyone who attended and supported the students. On Tuesday morning, the Blue Rapids students received a special visit from the state‑bound Lady Mustang basketball team, who stopped by on their way out of town to get high‑fives and cheers from the elementary students. On Wednesday, the 4th‑grade students completed the NAEP national assessment. Individual scores will not be released; only overall data for the nation and the state of Kansas will be reported. As we head into spring break, the third quarter has officially come to a close. I want to wish everyone a restful and relaxing break. As a reminder, grades will be sent out the week we return.
Here are some upcoming dates to remember:
- Spring Break - March 16th - 20th

As always, thank you for the privilege and blessing that it is to work with your children. My door is always open if you have any concerns or you need to visit.
