Week Ten Inspirational Quote:
"It's not about just working hard, it's about working together. You have to care more about the team than you do about yourself." John Calipari
This quote connects perfectly to our Go for the Gold theme. While gold is earned through hard work and determination, the greatest successes happen when we work together toward a common goal. At Mandarin Middle, going for the gold means supporting one another, celebrating each other's strengths, and putting the success of our school community above individual recognition. When we work as a team and stay focused on our shared mission, we create a culture where everyone can achieve their very best. Together, we can truly Go for the Gold!

Donโt Get Them Confused!
Amendment 3 and the Duval County Public Schools 1-mill referendum are two separate items on the November 3 ballot.
๐ซ The 1-mill referendum is a continuation of the millage approved by Duval County voters in 2022. It supports school funding, including teacher pay, as well as arts and athletics.
๐ Amendment 3 is a proposed change to the Florida Constitution addressing property taxes statewide. The amendment excludes school funding.
Take a look at the graphic for a quick side-by-side comparison and visit www.DuvalSchools.org/Vote for more information about the 1-mill referendum.
