Happy June!

Dear Fricano Families,

Happy June!

We have just about 2 weeks left of the school year before summer begins and we want to take this time to express our deep appreciation for all the families who share their children with us each and every day. Thank you for partnering with us, as a school, to support your child's growth socially, emotionally, and academically. We feel so lucky to work with such amazing students each day.

To our second grade families, we will miss you as you move onto Regan Intermediate School. We are excited for your child's journey on and hope you come back to say hi and share your child's successes with us!

To our kindergarten and first grade families, we can't wait to welcome you back next year for another wonderful year of learning together.

Please take special note of our upcoming dates, as June brings many schedule changes (We have a 1/2 day on 6/13 and no school on 6/19). Please note that 1/2 day dismissal is at 11:30am.

Here's to the last 11 days of the 2023-2024 school year!

Sincerely,

Denielle Toth and Taylor Ramsey

Principal and Assistant Principal

New Pick Up Procedure Starting June 10th!

June 4, 2024

Dear Parents/Guardians:

The safety of our students, staff, parents and community is always a top priority for the Starpoint Central School District. We have been continually reviewing the processes we currently have in place for our pick-ups at the end of the day to ensure such safety. In an effort to maintain the level of safety for everyone, we will be piloting a new pick-up process for both Fricano Primary and Regan Intermediate.

Starting Monday, June 10th, we will be implementing these changes so we can prepare for the 2024-2025 school year. Moving forward for the rest of the 23-24 school year, please note the following changes:

Vehicles will enter through the small driveway near Fricano (like morning drop off for Fricano) and be directed by staff. Fricano students will be dismissed first so those cars will enter through the driveway first. Once RIS is dismissed, cars will be staggered to allow for dismissal. Please rely on the staff to direct you and ensure a smooth transition to this new direction.
Please make sure you have your tag visible in your window from checking in UNTIL your child gets in the car which will be loaded on the passenger side.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding with these changes as they could delay pickup for a few days. We continue to try to do everything possible to keep the afternoon pick as safe and user-friendly as possible.
