Four Day Week - No School Labor Day
Bell Schedule: *A, *A, *A, *A = Modified A days on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Just like last week, students will start the day in Home Room and then have all seven of their classes.
We have a special, fun event on Wednesday. Our bell schedule is the same as Tuesday and Thursday, but students will be spending some time outside the classroom. Read more about it below. I've also attached the bell schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and also Friday's bell schedule.
Launch Day
MMS Launch Day on September 3, 2025!
Goal: Encourage students to connect and interact with each other to build a strong, intertwined community here at Moscow Middle School.
Who: All MMS students will be involved and organized by homeroom.
What: A day of team-building, where students meet with their homerooms for two-hour blocks in order to get to know each other and build stronger relationships. two-hour sessions will be organized by grade level and activities will be arranged by homeroom.
When: All day on September 3rd
- 6th graders meet in the morning session
- 8th graders meet in the noon session with a graciously donated fully catered lunch by Best Western, so bringing lunch from home isn’t necessary for them
- 7th graders meet in the afternoon session
- Both 6th and 7th graders will need to order a hot lunch from school or bring a packed lunch from home
- Homerooms will also do a quick debriefing the next day in order to provide feedback on what went well and what could be improved
Where: Students will be released over the intercom by grade level and will meet their homeroom teachers at Oylear Field, across the street from MMS.
Why: Through this opportunity, students and staff at MMS will continue to build community and help kids feel connected at MMS. Any opportunity to build and nurture relationships is a good one, so let’s make sure this one isn’t wasted!
Additional Information about Launch Day:
- For this opportunity, we are contracting Trajectory, a local, team-building consultant company!
- All MMS students and staff will receive a complimentary Cub Pride t-shirt designed by Lila Beard, one of our 8th grade Cubs!
- Students need to come to school prepared for an outdoor field day with closed-toe shoes and other practical clothing!
Digital Registration
Have you completed the digital registration process? Maybe not...our reports show that only about 43% of our families have completed online forms. You should have received a letter in the mail, as well as email, from our district office and the Middle School with information on how to complete that process. If you having any difficulties, please call or stop by our office. We are happy to help you get it done.

A great start to a great year!
It was a great start! The students are finding their way around, getting to know each other, and getting to know their teachers. We had our "Welcome Back" assembly today. It was awesome. The MMS staff debuted our Welcome Back Dance Video, we played some Cubby Games (Congrats to the 8th graders!) and learned the Moscow Victory cheer and which class could yell it the loudest. It has been wonderful seeing the kids again and welcoming in the 6th graders. I have the best job in the world. Thank you for sending us such amazing kids. It is our honor to get to work with them every day.
The MMS staff have some pretty good dance moves...well...some of them. :)
