December Events at FSMA

• This evening is designed for 5th and 6th grade students and families to learn about our exciting middle school program. FSMA’s program utilizes many of the tried-and-true middle school components and curriculum. Then, we add many additional pieces to create what we believe is a strong, effective, unique program that creates students who are not only ready for high school, but able to excel in high school.
  

  We invite you to join us on Wednesday, December 6th at 6:30 p.m. for an Information Session specific to FSMA’s Middle School Program. We will share more about the program and curriculum, plus you will get a chance to hear from students, parents and teachers.

On Thursday, December 21st, FSMA will have our annual Pajama Day. Students and staff will come to school in their pajamas and do many fun celebratory activities. Here are a few reminders for everyone's safety:

• Students may go outside for recess. Pajamas must be appropriate for the weather and keep them warm outside.
• Regular footwear... no slippers
• Stuffed animals should fit inside your backpack (if you choose to bring one)

Every year, we pack a section of the Bob Carpenter Center for a University of Delaware basketball game. The fun begins with the FSMA High-Five Tunnel (about 30 minutes before the game) and then there are some activities/food/etc... oh, and we watch some basketball!

Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased through the FSMA online payment system.

Specialists are Special is a tradition at FSMA to celebrate and thank our non-classroom staff members! Office staff, faciliities, student support, special ed, specialists... all the special people who do so much at FSMA!

This year, a breakfast will be held on Monday, December 18th. Please help us by signing up to bring a dish or donating a gift card for the gift card draw. Your contribution is sincerely appreciated!
