CELEBRATIONS CELEBRATIONS

Great things are happening at WCS!

This week, Northern Stars Planetarium came to put on presentations for our school. Students entered the inflatable planetarium and got to see one of several different shows, including, "Exploring Our Universe," "Weather & Seasons," and "Biology of the Cell." Thank you to the WCS PTA for making this incredible experience possible for all of our K-8 students!

AM Drop Off Procedure

REMINDER: STUDENT DROP-OFF PROCEDURE

As a reminder, students are permitted to enter the building beginning at 8:17 a.m. For the safety of all students, please do not drop off students unattended before this time.

If your student’s drop-off will take more than a minute or two, please pull into the visitor parking area rather than remaining in the drop-off loop. This helps keep traffic moving smoothly and safely for everyone.

Finally, please do not pass a vehicle on the driver’s side unless directed to do so by a staff member.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain a safe and efficient arrival process for all students and families!

Sincerely,

Mr. Libby

Thank you

THANK YOU!

Thank you to all who joined us last weekend for the WCS Harvest Supper. The benefit meal was a delicious success for our 8th grade class who raised around $2,500 for their trip to Washington, D.C. This event would not have been possible without the support of our 8th grader and their families, who baked and decorated and set everything up. Well done, Wildcats!

UP ON THE ROOF UP ON THE ROOF

Mr. Libby on the Roof

On Tuesday, Mr. Libby spent the whole day, working from the roof of the school, as a reward for the school raising $10,000 for the PTA. The weather was nice, and while the students enjoyed seeing him way up high, Mr. Libby agreed that it's lonely at the top!

In other big news, the WCS PTA HAS REACHED ITS FUNRAISING GOAL of $15,000! This means that Mr. Libby will have to spend the whole night at school!! What would YOU do if you could spend the night at school?
