Principal's Corner
Dear Hirsch Hawk Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! We are so happy to see your children’s smiling faces filling our halls again. The first week of 2026 was an absolute success, and it was a joy to see our students jump right back into learning with confidence and enthusiasm.
Report cards were sent home on Friday, so please be sure to check backpacks if you haven’t already. These reports reflect just how much your child has grown since the beginning of the school year. Our students are truly smarter and stronger than they were just a few months ago.
Across grade levels, we are seeing growth in so many ways—stronger reading skills, deeper problem-solving in math, improved writing stamina, greater independence, and increased confidence in the classroom. Just as importantly, our students continue to grow socially and emotionally as they practice perseverance, responsibility, and respect each day.
We are also excited to share that on January 29, we will celebrate the 100th Day of School! To mark this special milestone, we encourage students and staff to dress as if they are 100 years old. From gray hair to glasses and suspenders, we can’t wait to see the creativity and have a little fun together as a school community.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we are helping our Hirsch Hawks soar higher every day.
Warm regards,
Principal Patterson
