Quarter 1 Report Cards will be coming home with GMS students on Thursday of next week (10/24).

Also coming home are NWEA Map Progress Reports for students. GMS students take this assessment in both reading and math. This is just one measure of student growth that we utilize and also this assessment provides us with valuable instructional information specific to your student. If your student was not enrolled in early fall, or they had repeated absences, they will not have a score as they did not complete the assessment.

Congratulations to our middle school soccer players for an outstanding season. The middle school teams had a very successful campaign with Graham Black ending up as league tournament runner-up. Graham White also made the semi-final. Combined, the teams had over 20 wins and just 3 losses on the year. Also, just this past weekend our GYSA U12 girls teams both made it to the tournament finals, making it an all-Graham final matchup. Barger Heating & Air ended up winning in the final minute over Blair’s photography, but it was a great matchup all game. Congratulations to all players of these teams for an amazing year.

7th and 8th graders interested in playing Middle School Basketball - There is a parent meeting on October 25th from 4-5pm in the Gym. Practices begin Monday, October 28th at 2:45pm in the MS gym.

Students all have access to Progress Book via their Clever logins. Parents can access through the same login they would have used last year. Any new families should have received an access key on Friday via email from Mr. Guidera.

Frontline Education has released the Progress Book Parent and Student Mobile App (aka Parent Access app) to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This app is available for your parents/students to download and use now. For those that choose to download, the app takes the place of the mobile web version of Parent Access that parents and students have long used. In addition, Frontline has produced an overview video that can be shared with your users.
